    Hi all,
I’ve been given word that the 2020 Vermont QSO party is happening February 1-2, starting 7pm local time Friday 1/31 and running until Sunday Feb 2nd at 7pm local. I’d like to use this forum to keep those interested in participating in this event informed of the plan. Please feel free to post any questions or suggestions you have.
    Happy holidays!

That sounds great! I was going to be out of town on feb 14-15 so that is great news to me!

    Happy holidays,

    Regarding QSO party plan options:
I would likely not participate in the roving plan, esp. in the far-flung counties.
But I expect I would help at a fixed-location station in Central Vermont, likely on Saturday during the daytime.
Best in the New Year to all!

Yeah, as ambitious as it is, I think we can have just as much fun as a fixed station. We’ll keep the idea on the back burner, but I think for now we’ll go full steam ahead with VTC as our location.
The request to book the room in Morey Hall was sent the second week of December, but I still haven’t heard back from them. It’s a bit slow with limited staff during the holidays – But I’ve been checking in every week since.

As for operating details, what does everyone think about 2 HF stations and possibly a VHF (6/2 meter) station if there is interest?

Making a party of it at VTC sounds good to me. Provisions shouldn’t be too far away. And the operating details sounds good to me also.
